TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement

By booking, paying for, entering, or participating in a Beyond Reality VR session, the purchaser and each participant agree to these Terms of Service, all posted arena rules, staff instructions, and the separate Player Safety Waiver. The purchaser must provide these requirements to every member of the group.

2. Sessions and pricing

Sessions cost $40 per player unless a different price is clearly displayed at checkout. A visit may last up to one hour and generally includes briefing, equipment setup, and approximately 45 minutes of gameplay. Session length may be shortened by late arrival, safety issues, equipment misuse, or failure to follow staff instructions.

3. Payment and reservations

Full payment is required to reserve player spots. A reservation is confirmed only after successful payment. Taxes or other legally required charges may be added where applicable. Customers must provide accurate booking and contact information.

4. Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds

All sales are final and payments are nonrefundable. Beyond Reality VR may, at its sole discretion, offer a reschedule, account credit, or refund when circumstances justify an exception. Any exception is voluntary and does not create an obligation to provide the same or a similar exception in the future. Failure to attend, cancellation, and late arrival do not entitle the purchaser or participants to a refund, credit, or reschedule. If Beyond Reality VR cancels a session, it may provide a replacement session, account credit, or refund.

5. Player eligibility

Players must be at least 13 years old unless Beyond Reality VR expressly approves another arrangement. A parent or legal guardian must complete the required waiver for a participant under 18. Beyond Reality VR may require identification or proof of guardian authority. Participation is prohibited while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs, or any substance or condition that makes play unsafe.

6. Health and safety

Virtual reality can cause dizziness, nausea, disorientation, seizures, falls, collisions, or aggravation of medical conditions. Players must follow all instructions, remain within designated areas, use equipment properly, and stop immediately if they feel unwell. Beyond Reality VR may refuse or end participation when reasonably necessary for safety.

7. Player waiver

Every participant must complete the current Player Safety Waiver before entering the arena. Payment alone does not replace the waiver. A participant who does not complete the waiver may not play and is not entitled to a refund.

8. Conduct and property

Threatening behavior, harassment, fighting, intentional interference, unsafe conduct, cheating, or damage to equipment or property is prohibited. A player may be removed without refund. The responsible participant or purchaser may be charged for intentional or reckless damage to equipment or facilities to the extent permitted by law.

9. Technical interruptions

VR equipment and networks can experience temporary interruptions. Beyond Reality VR may restart, extend, reschedule, credit, or refund an affected session at its reasonable discretion based on the severity of the interruption.

10. Liability and applicable law

Participation is subject to the separately signed Player Safety Waiver. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by Michigan law, and any dispute must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Michigan unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Privacy and electronic records

Beyond Reality VR may collect booking, payment, waiver, contact, device, IP-address, and timestamp information to operate sessions, document agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Stripe processes payment information under Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices. Customers consent to electronic records, notices, and signatures related to their booking.

12. Changes and contact

The version accepted at checkout governs that booking. Beyond Reality VR may update these terms for future bookings. Questions and rescheduling requests may be sent to garrett@beyondrealityvr.com.
